“In 2013 and 2014 we started collaborating with Mateo Llarena, a young driver from Guatemala, to teach him what I knew about karting and try to improve on the already good approach given by his coach Facundo Casse.” – recalls team principal Roberto Mazzotti, – “After a week in Italy and some trips to Guatemala we won two championships together in the 60 class.”
“9 years later our paths crossed again with a short phone call where Mateo, who in the meantime has undertaken a career as a professional driver in Prototypes and GT3 as an official Lamborghini driver, asked me to spend a Sunday together on the kart.
