MazzottiCorse is one of the few teams in Italy that teaches proper driving. If you don’t know how to “read” telemetry data, turn the carburetor screws, and if you simply don’t know how to properly control a racing car (by the way, almost everyone who comes to karting doesn’t know how to do it!) – then someone should teach you. The correct braking intensity, correct acceleration, the trajectory of movement itself – this is a whole science! If you just rode a rental karting for 40 euros and decided that you can already go to a kart factory team and participate in the World Championship – then most likely they will gladly take you there. But you will not be pleased to note that you are driving slower than the leaders of this team. It will seem to you that they are given the most powerful engines, the most flexible frames and the stickiest tires. But this is not so. You simply do not know how to drive and work with data.
Coaches are needed in motorsport as in any other sport. Several successful drivers who later rose to the top of motorsport started out in MazzottiCorse. Three-time Karting World Champion Lorenzo Travisanutto, Ferrari factory driver and IndyCar racer Robert Shwartzman, Laborghini driver Mateo Llarena… Ask them yourself, and they will tell you that they won their first victories with Mazzotti.
